The video and written instructions below demonstrates how to field test a JTP 3 unit that's triggering an IGBT Fault.
Preparation: Power down the frequency converter and disconnect the input voltage source. Connect IGBT Functionality Tester to a 120VAC source.
Disconnect feedback bus wires: There is a DC bus connection for each heatsink, remove the bus connection for the heatsink that is being tested.
i.e. 313A or 313C will be removed for that heatsink.

Next, remove the appropriate gate connections on the IGBT
Connect the IGBT Functionality Tester: Connect IGBT functionality tester and the tester button.by following the printed diagram on the tester.
